ac blower motor intermittent

I replaced the blower motor & squirrel cage; then all three relays and the thermositor and still the same issue. I restarted the unit without the filter and the noise returned but much louder and sounded like a very slowly starting electric motor but with a high pitched whine or hum. I had the warranty work done. I would try running the A/C until the blower fails. Would this mean the resistor was making the funky noises, like clicking or clacking on the lower fan settings? I have the same issue on my 06. If this is the case, then I would have to agree totally that it is a weak motor. :) Maybe someone really familiar with these honeywell products might know if this is even feasible.
